Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica

Meet and greet at the airport.

Transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight.

Here you will also receive more details about your tour.

Day 2: San Jose:

Breakfast at the hotel.  Optional tours in the surrounding areas of San José, that may be fascinating water rafting adventure, or an overwhelming view of one of the most beautiful and largest active volcano craters in  the world, the Poás Volcano.

Day 3: San Jose-Tortuguero

Today, we will start with our tour towards our “little amazonas”, Tortuguero, on the Caribbean side.  A boat will take us through the fascinating canals  to our hotel. We can visit the local  village after lunch.

Day 4: Tortuguero

This morning we will enjoy a nice tour in the green canals full of wildlife and beautiful plants. Afternoon is free to relax at the pool or watch birds in the gardens.

Day 5: Tortuguero-Sarapiquí

After breakfast we will have a boat transfer back to the main land and continue through the agricultural  areas of Sarapiquí. Afternoon will be free.

Day 6: Sarapiquí

Today we will enjoy a guided visit La Selva Biological Station and have a tour in the tropical wet forest on their trails. Afternoon can be used for relaxing or maybe a river float…

Day 7: Sarapiquí-Arenal

After breakfast we continue towards the Arenal area (La Fortuna). The Arenal volcano is the most active in Costa Rica. The surroundings are beautiful and offer many different activities.

We will arrive before lunch and the afternoon is free to explore the area, hotel and activities or relax.

Day 8: Arenal

In the morning we will take the Sky Tram to see the rain forest from above as well as an amazing view of the lake and volcano.

In the afternoon we can visit a hot spring.

Day 9: Arenal-San José

Today we will go back to San Jose where you can do some shopping, visit museums maybe a coffee tour, or just relax around the hotel area.

Day 10: Good Bye Costa Rica

Transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport to take you home.
