Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Meet and greet at the airport.
Transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 2: Sarapiquí
After a breakfast at the hotel we start our tour towards Sarapiqui which is a lowland agricultural area with Rainforest Reserves and Indigenous history. The afternoon is free for own activities.

Day 3: Sarapiquí
Today you have the whole day to explore the area and activities of Sarapiquí. River Rafting, Chocolate or Pineapple Tour, Hike in La Selva Biological Reserve, visit the indigenous museum etc.

Day 4: Sarapiquí-Arenal
After breakfast we continue towards the Arenal area (La Fortuna). The Arenal volcano is the most active in Costa Rica, the surroundings are beautiful and offer many different activities. We will arrive before lunch and the afternoon is free to explore the area, hotel and activities or relax.

Day 5-6: Arenal
Full days to enjoy the nature, volcano and different activities La Fortuna has to offer like hanging bridges, zipline, horse back riding, hot springs and much more.

Day 7: Arenal-Monteverde
After breakfast we cross the Arenal Lake on the way to Monteverde. The Cloud forest here is fantastic and you can enjoy a great flora and fauna as well as plenty of activities. As we arrive around lunchtime you will have the afternoon free to explore the area.

Day 8: Monteverde
This is a full day to enjoy the nature and activities. Hike in the reserve full of old trees, ferns, mosses and bromeliads, fly over the tree tops on a zipline, learn about amphibians and reptiles. Try freshly made cheese in the factory and buy some local coffee and handicrafts at CASEM.

Day 9: Monteverde-Playa Hermosa/Jaco
Today we will drive through the Tilaran Mountain range down to the Pacific side and Playa Hermosa/Jacó where you can enjoy the beach and sun.

Day 10: Playa Hermosa/Jaco
Today you can enjoy the beach and relax or take additional tours. The Carara National Park (where you can spot the rare and beautiful scarlet macaw) is in the area as well as the famous crocodile bridge where you can easily see big crocodiles. At the Arial Tram you can hike, watch wildlife and see a waterfall from a lift. At the beach surfing and sailing are popular activities. Don’t miss the wonderful sunset!

 Day 11: Playa Hermosa-San Jose
Today we will go back to San Jose where you can do some shopping, visit museums or just relax around the hotel area.

Day 12: Good Bye Costa Rica
Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport to take you home.
