Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Meet and greet at the airport.
Transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 2: San José – Arenal
After breakfast we will start our trip towards La Fortuna /Arenal.
The drive is a scenic road over the mountains to reach the lush and green surroundings of the Arenal area. Afternoon is free for exploring the area.

 Day 3-4: Arenal
Full days to enjoy the nature, volcano and different activities La Fortuna has to offer like hanging bridges, zipline, horse back riding, hot springs and much more.

Day 5: Arenal – Monteverde
After breakfast we cross the Arenal Lake on the way to Monteverde. The Cloud forest here is fantastic and you can enjoy a great flora and fauna as well as plenty of activities.

Day 6: Monteverde
This is a full day to enjoy the nature and activities. Hike in the reserve full of old trees, ferns, mosses and bromeliads, fly over the tree tops on a zipline, learn about amphibians and reptiles.
Try freshly made cheese in the cheese factory and buy some local coffee and handicrafts at CASEM.

Day 7: Monteverde –Manuel Antonio
Today we will drive through the Tilaran Mountain range down to the Pacific side and Manuel Antonio where you can enjoy the beach and sun as well as the famous National Park and many activities.

 Day 8: Manuel Antonio
A full day to choose between activities like hiking in the National Park, join a mangrove tour, relax at the beautiful beaches and more.

Day 9: Manuel Antonio - Dominical
After breakfast we will have our transfer take us a bit further south along the Pacific Coast to the Dominical area which is famous for Whales and Dolphins as well as long white sandy beaches and many birds. You will have the rest of the day to explore the area.

Day 10: Dominical
A full day to walk along the beaches or try some activities like kayaking, bird watching, Whale & Dolphin Tours, horse back riding, surfing and more.

Day 11: Dominical-Dota
After breakfast we will take a scenic drive up to the Mountains “Cerro de la Muerte” and our final destination San Gerardo de Dota which is a cloud forest famous for its Resplendent Quetzal birds. Hike in the beautiful tranquil forest and try to find a Quetzal bird, fish in the clear river or take a horse back ride.

Day 12: Dota-San Jose
Try to get up early to look for the Quetzal before breakfast. After breakfast we will drive back to San Jose where you can do some shopping, visit museums or just relax at the hotel area.

Day 13: Good Bye Costa Rica
Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport to take you home.
